This unit is a light silky/yaki with mesh cap. It is soft, no tangles, slight shedding. ******************** Update: After wearing this for 2 weeks off and on, it has matted and tangled. However, if you brush it, spritz it with water, use a leave-in conditioner, and finger comb it, the curl pattern bounces right back and it looks how it did when it was first purchased. But the ends are more dry. I plan on cutting the dry ends. Would I still recommend her? Yes, but not at this price point for all the work it takes to maintain her. After 2 weeks, she is no longer a throw on and go wig. Instead, she is a take-your-time-to-brush-her, wet her, condition her, and style her wig- and you will need to do that EACH time you wear her. So I downgraded her from 5 to 3 stars because of matting, tangling, and ends becoming dry, and she is too much work to maintain for the price point. I just bought Hollyn. I will review her next.
